Partnered Ministries
Helping others in our community is at the core of who we are (Matthew 25:40); and, whether you are seeking assistance or are searching for ways to help our brothers and sisters in Marine City, The Lord has led you to this page. As you read about the ministries that we seasonally partner with, we ask that you pray over them, so that we may continue to share the love of Christ to those in need.

Summer Backpack Program
In the East China School District, parents and guardians are struggling to supply enough food for their families.
To help offset the increasing cost of food, we supply participants with a certain amount of food per child. Food is distributed every two weeks during the summer, through a confidential process. To qualify participants must have at least one child 18 years of age, or younger and live inside the ECSD boundaries.
The food is provided by a government grant and through private donations.
Downriver Food Truck Giveaway
Many families that do not qualify for the Summer Backpack Program also suffer from rising costs of food.
Our church is the site for the Downriver Helping Hands food truck. Every month a semi-trailer's worth of food is brought in. Participants must be St. Clair County residents and bring their own bag to the hand out, which are filled until supplies run out. The program operates between
1:30-3:00 p.m.
Seasonal Ministry
Operation Christmas Child
Children from all around the world need different types of aid and our goal is to share God's love by providing them with the needed supplies packed in a shoebox (which we provide).
Samaritan's Purse looks for volunteers all year long. If you are interested in helping with other ministries that they implement, please visit their website and learn how you can join them in making a difference today.
